Hello.  Joey started a blog (https://myhumantruth.blogspot.com/) and that reminded me that I have a blog and about a month has passed since my last post so I thought maybe I should post again. I went through a scroll on pinterest yesterday and I found some photos that I like so I wanted to share them.  1.  This one is by Niki Gleoudi. She's Greek. All her photos have kind of a surreal quality that I enjoy, take this one too for example:  She's got some real good stuff, look her up if ur into photos. 2.  I have no idea who took these, but I love the combo of these photos, for reasons that seem obvious. Hilarity. Good day good week good month, It hath been a long while, sorryest I've been caught up in life stuff, was in a slump, am out of the slump, or maybe not? I'm almost 18, in literally a week (March 24th hoes) and I don't know how to feel. I went to Paris, and upon my return I announced (to myself) that I've got some post-Paris clarity.  Happy New Year to all.  Back to the blog because I can finally breathe again. College apps are done (basically). I finished all the supplemental essays for everything due at the start of January. I was in my grindset over winter break. Going to the New York Public Library basically every day to finish the supps. Worth it so I didn't have to stress out over them on New Years Eve.  I didn't update the blog at all because I kept telling myself that I should be working on college apps instead of writing a silly little blog post. So please excuse my absence. I will be more consistent now that the nightmare is over.  On the Show Situation..      Since the start of the school year I haven't been going to many shows. Apologies. Ok we are back. Sorry y'all, I know you guys have missed the blog content. I was ultra busy.  All my senior (and high school graduate) buddies know the stress of college apps. Man. I died. This is what I felt like: Photo from Seans: hommage á Antonin Artaud (1977) But now early decision and early action is done. Can breathe a tad, but not for long because REGULAR DECISION is coming up. Slowly crawling, scampering, creeping up on me and everyone applying to college. September felt like 4 months, October was stress filled, and now that those two have passed I have my eyes set on January. Every time I get stressed out thinking about CSS, how one of my teachers still hasn't submitted his rec, having to write unending supplemental essays, and all that, I just think about how free I'm going to feel in January . I’m back!!!! to writing my blog soz for not updating thissss I’m in Greece! I left NYC on June 29th and I will be retuning on September 3rd.  I am currently in Athens staying at my grandparents place as I do every summer but this year I brought a buddy! Sophia Mueller. She left on July 10th so she's gone now but she was staying with us in Athens for like a week and then she meandered back to Germany where she’ll stay for most of the rest of the summa. While she was here I got to unabashedly do tourist stuff. Y’know I had never walked up the Acropolis before like whattt, I should have done that when I was younger. What I did do when I was younger was go to the Acropolis museum in 2015. Here are pics of before (9 y/o) and after (17 y/o). This is the longest we are staying in Athens, we usually only stay for like… a week but this time we’re staying for two weeks and we leave for Chios (the island with my dad’s side of the family) on July 15th.  It's been a while, I just finished my final big assignment for school yesterday and a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I have some other physics work to do but that's due on the 16th so I have time. The only regents I'm slightly worried about is physics because I have to remember all the units for each symbol but that's on the 22nd, so again, lots of time, no stress. But now I have free time! I will be going to many a shows and might even go to a party or two until I leave for Greece-which is very soon. I leave on the 29th of June and I return September 3rd. I won't be going to any summer shows and I will be getting badddd fomo. But I'm balancing out the fomo with posting photos of the beach every time I see show photos.  It's going to be particularly sad that I won't be here for the summer because all the bands with high school seniors will probably break up once they leave for college.
